Abu Dhabi, December 27, 2025: Burjeel Holdings, leading super-specialty healthcare services provider in MENA, has strengthened its Environmental, Social, and Governance commitments through ‘Growing a Greener Tomorrow,’ a sustainability initiative under which employees planted 100 trees around the Burjeel Medical City campus in Mohamed Bin Zayed City.

The program reaffirms the Group’s commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2040 and aligns with the UAE’s broader sustainability vision. By enhancing green cover within its healthcare ecosystem, Burjeel Holdings continues to integrate environmental responsibility into the delivery of patient-centered care.

The initiative forms part of Burjeel Holdings’ broader ESG strategy, which focuses on cultivating a Healthy Environment, Healthy Community, Healthy Governance, and Healthy System. ‘Growing a Greener Tomorrow’ builds on Burjeel Holdings’ ongoing sustainability journey and marks the continuation of the ‘Better by Nature’ initiative launched in 2024, which saw the planting of mangroves at Jubail Mangrove Park in Abu Dhabi.
